Helping To Achieve Your Career Goals

UEI's career services professionals are trained to work with you to achieve your career goals. We have years of experience in helping graduates gain employment in great jobs with great companies, and we are ready to help you, too. We cannot guarantee your success, but UEI has an excellent record of having graduates find and keep jobs in their field of study. Success after graduation depends on many factors, and we are here to help you along the way.

At UEI, we work closely with employers to determine their requirements and needs for filling positions. We structure our programs around these needs. Our research has proven that there are two skill sets critical to all employers: "technical skills" you will learn in the classroom and the equally important "employability skills" that come from the individual and include dependability, professionalism, strong communication skills and a positive attitude. At UEI, we focus on these skills from the moment you walk through our doors.

We will work with you to develop a professional resumé and personal portfolio, as well as provide focused sessions on how to make an interview successful. UEI's hands-on technical training and career-focused education will give you all the skills for your success. Our commitment to training the "total" graduate is why so many employers look to UEI for their hiring needs.

Employer Contacts

The Career Services Department develops and maintains strong relationships with employers to assist students in finding excellent job opportunities. Many of these employers have hired UEI graduates and rely on the quality they have come to expect. The career services professionals work to develop new employment opportunities by working directly with hiring managers to match graduates with jobs for a perfect fit. It is the goal of the Career Services Coordinators to help every student develop confidence and professionalism so that their abilities flourish.

UEI students work hard for opportunities to put their education to good use. UEI's Career Services Department strives to make sure students are successful with those opportunities.

We provide students with the tools they need to find a great new career. We help students develop a resumé, a portfolio, interview skills and job search techniques which make them fully prepared to walk into any job interview. This is part of the UEI advantage.
