"When I came in the front door at UEI, I told them I was a veteran, and they said they had a program just for me. They were very helpful ... top-notch."

The Financial Planning Department of United Education Institute is committed to helping students find ways to finance their education. The services offered by the Financial Planning Department are available to all current and prospective students Monday through Friday. Eligibility for a Subsidized Stafford Loan is based on financial need.
Unsubsidized Federal Stafford Loan
An Unsubsidized Federal Stafford Loan is a low-interest loan made by a lender (bank, credit union, or savings and loan association) to independent students. Loan applicants are evaluated based on their credit history and other factors. The loan interest rate and fees will vary depending on the applicant's credit history. These loans are currently offered by SLM Financial Corporation, a subsidiary of Sallie Mae and CitiAssist Loans from Citibank.
